Wallace and Gromitt's Grand Adventures is a demo for Telltale Game's collection of four adventure episodes of the hilarious clay - animated duo.
The adventures are 3D point and click games, with puzzles to solve and lots of great dialogue. This demo features a tutorial, which may be over simple for point and click veterans, but is great for newcomers. The tutorial also creates a reason for you to be interacting in the story, which is a clever idea. After that there is a scene from the first episode for you to play.
Like all games of this genre, you talk to everyone you can as much as possible, and use objects you find to solve their or your problems. The controls are really well implemented in Wallace and Gromitt's Grand Adventures - Telltale haven't messed with the basics of move and click at all, which makes playing really intuitive.
The voices in Wallace and Gromitt's Grand Adventures are fantastic, and exactly what you'd expect, and the graphics are well animated too. Some of the backgrounds look a bit bare and flat, but they don't spoil the feeling of being in a real Wallace and Gromitt adventure. The humor and style has been perfectly recreated in this game, so fans should love it.
Wallace and Gromitt's Grand Adventures is a great adaption of the animated episodes and movies, which won't disappoint fans or lovers of point and click adventures.
